The human-vampire hybrid was introduced to the big screen played by Wesley Snipes in the 1998 film, “Blade” directed by Stephen Norrington. The film's popularity enabled the character to have a trilogy with “Blade II” in 2002 and “Blade: Trinity” in 2004.
"What I look forward to is earning it," Ali told Jake’s Takes. “There’s an anticipation for it, excitement for it that he owns. That Mr. Snipes owns. In filling his shoes, I’m just looking to earn my place in this, and I’m excited to get going and do the work.”
